These are the styles that I want to do the dances in: Hiphop Commersial Contemporary I chose these styles as they are the ones that I feel most comfortable doing, as well as them being easy beginner styles, apposed to say for instance ballet which is very difficult to start as an adult.   Here's a list of dance techniques/styles that I want to have in at least one of the dances: Floor work Playing with speeds Soft/hard Energy based Groove  For the dances I want them to be aimed towards multiple genders, however the dances will have a style that is typically associated with specific genders. For instance commercial or floor work is typically associated with female based dances as they are things that male dancers weren't really taught in the past. Add outcomes to the proposal!  It’s a case study, so analyse reference of other tiktok videos. 2-3 cases. Analyse who they are, what we can learn from this. How many to create? Why this many?  Have reasons behind each part of the project. So every section of the process is specific. Need to keep a very good account of each section of the process. Autothropenphy. And reflection of it. Will I upload it? Reactions? Comments? Data Phase 1- case study Phase 2- autothropephy  Add the autonography 

Make a video to show how long it takes me to learn a regular dance Make second video to show me learning TikTok dances and how long they take Make a list of dance moves that I see a lot in tiktoks, then show evidence of them as well as what it looks like Do an interview with someone that uses TikTok a lot, and posts dance videos Find books that I can use as primary sources (books about social media, dancing, fitness, etc) Write a list of questions that I want to answer through the text For my practical piece of the project I want to create social media platforms for the campaign, as well as a series of Tiktok dances that would be used if this were to be a real campaign, and some promotional material for the campaign.  What I'm going to work on is getting the primary research for the dances part of my dissertation, then get the practical done while working through research parts. Then finally write my final dissertation.

To create design we need to understand humans, so we research Making your design successful Action research Components  Written dissertation (6000-8000) Practical work (Digital files, documentation) Link to personal blog or design journal Final short video presentation The dissertation has to be designed well & presentable  Overall, after this meeting I am confused, is Juan wanting us to start over and not continue from last semester.

I think at the beginning of this project I found it easy to come up with ideas, especially since it is an open brief. I originally wanted to do this project about mental health, however I am very happy with the change that I made and the direction that I am currently going in, this is because it is a huge interest for me and links to something that I am very passionate about, dance. I did, however, find that there were not many lectures or lessons really for this project, we did get feedback on our ideas, but I still feel as if I do not understand parts of this project fully, such a referencing.  I have really enjoyed researching into my topic and found it relatively easy to do so. I did however, struggle a lot writing the actual proposal, I just really struggled to actually write it and could not seem to come up with the right words, I think with the whole pandemic going on currently it has been really difficult to sit down and just write out the essay.
