Choosing the songs for my dances (Add videos) ++++

So to choose songs for my dances I want songs that I know well enough to the point where I can pick out beats quite easily for the dance. I decided to make a list for each of the styles of dance with the techniques that I merged together. I merged these together by the style and what it usually matches with in techniques. How I chose the final song is that I put all the songs on for each style of dance, then freestyle to each one to see which song I felt I could create a dance for the most easily.   Commercial- Energy based: For this dance I wanted a high energy song, with some easy beats to follow.  I like it- Cardi B Sorry not sorry- Demi Lavato That's a no no- Itzy Side to side- Ariana Grande Tap in- Saweetie Boss bitch- Doja cat Level up- Ciara Shut up and dance- Jason Derulo Here's the video of freestyle: Hiphop/Commercial- Speeds: I wanted a song with a specific style to it, as well as some hard beats where I can play around with the tempo. 16 shots-...

Choosing styles for my dances

These are the styles that I want to do the dances in: Hiphop Commersial Contemporary I chose these styles as they are the ones that I feel most comfortable doing, as well as them being easy beginner styles, apposed to say for instance ballet which is very difficult to start as an adult.   Here's a list of dance techniques/styles that I want to have in at least one of the dances: Floor work Playing with speeds Soft/hard Energy based Groove  For the dances I want them to be aimed towards multiple genders, however the dances will have a style that is typically associated with specific genders. For instance commercial or floor work is typically associated with female based dances as they are things that male dancers weren't really taught in the past. A example of a more masculine dance style would be hiphop, this is because it is a dance that was mainly taught to males in the past due to the powerful nature of the dance.  Because the dances are mean to be inclusive to al...
