Choosing the songs for my dances (Add videos) ++++
So to choose songs for my dances I want songs that I know well enough to the point where I can pick out beats quite easily for the dance. I decided to make a list for each of the styles of dance with the techniques that I merged together. I merged these together by the style and what it usually matches with in techniques.
How I chose the final song is that I put all the songs on for each style of dance, then freestyle to each one to see which song I felt I could create a dance for the most easily.
Commercial- Energy based:
For this dance I wanted a high energy song, with some easy beats to follow.
- I like it- Cardi B
- Sorry not sorry- Demi Lavato
- That's a no no- Itzy
- Side to side- Ariana Grande
- Tap in- Saweetie
- Boss bitch- Doja cat
- Level up- Ciara
- Shut up and dance- Jason Derulo

Hiphop/Commercial- Speeds:
I wanted a song with a specific style to it, as well as some hard beats where I can play around with the tempo.
- 16 shots- Stefflon Don
- Take you dancing- Jason Derulo
- Starboy- The weekend
- Singing in the mirror- Becky G
- Get your freak on- Missy Elliot
- Solo- Demi Lavato
- 7/11- Beyonce

Contemporary- Floorwork- Hard/Soft:
I want a song that is almost eerie sounding as this allows for the hard/soft style to be achieved quite easily. But I also want a song that has slow soft parts that allows for the more contemporary aspect as well as the floorwork.
- Smile- Maisie Peters
- Gangsta- Kehlani
- You don't own me- Grace
- Toxic- 2WEI
- Goodbye- Taemin

Hiphop- Groove
Not too much going on within the song, kinda lazy sounding. But with some beats that I can hit to make it show more of a hiphop style.
- Shape of you- Ed Sheehan
- Sicko mode- Travis Scott
- Church- T.Pain
- The way I are- Timberland
- No Diggity- Backstreet boys
- Love Sex Magic- Ciara
- 4 Minutes- Madonna
- 24K Magic- Bruno Mars
- Pop Style- Drake
- Wow- Post Malone
